Many users find that using an external keyboard with keyboard shortcuts for apps for Office helps them work more efficiently. However, users of Office 2003 must still have the Compatibility Pack installed before they can edit Word Open XML files that are compatible with Word 2003. If you select Full functionality mode, there is no effect on the Word 2007 and Word 2010 users. They can open and edit Word 2019, Word 2016, and Word 2013 documents. Support for Office 2016 for Mac ended on October 13, 2020. All of your Office 2016 apps will continue to function. Installation requires no administrative privileges. The Classic Menu will be installed in the current user context only. Companies can use the Admin-Setup which allows administrators to install the tool for all users on a machine. The software supports all languages that are supported by Office. If you change the language of Office, the language of the classic menu will be automatically changed. (Only the setup dialog and the license dialog are currently only available in English, German, French and Spanish).
